Life has been insanely busy,
which has it's pros and cons. We've been working on a corporate Video as a second job for the two of us, to pick up some $$ to pay off our debt. Now that's it's in the clearing stages, we're breathing a little easier. We still have lots to do before the stork comes bearing our gift.
We've toyed with new names, like Aspyn, Aislynn...annd most recently Cambria. That one brings some sweet memories with it, It was our favorite beach-side town in Central CA. we must've visited a dozen times. We'd stay at a B&B and walk on Moonstone Beach every chance we got. The city of cambria was small and simple, partly coastal, and partly mountainous.. sandy beaches and pine trees. What a delight!

It's only been ten days...

We took Cali to her first obedience class today. She was too freaked out, and distracted to really learn anything. but that's OK, cause most of the stuff was for us. We learned what to work on for the next week...Only Cali is 'taking' the class, but we'll be training Copper as well.
We practiced with them both today and they did really well.

We bought paint and sponges for painting the baby's room. It will look really great when we get it done. We ran so many errands, and cleaned all the boxes from our office and nursery that it was 9pm before we sat down.

P.S. We love having church at 11am.

This Week's Pensieve...

What to blog about tonight...so much has happened that lends itself to deep and ponderous thoughts.
Perhaps I will list them and let you all ponder so I won't need to anymore.

1. Both Peach and I lost family members that we were close to, this last week, that led to two Funerals in 4 days. Not fun. But if we didn't know what we know about this mortal sphere and the eternal plan of our Heavenly Father.. it would be unbearable.

2. As a result of the funerals, I left my TV show to be shot and directed without me. It happened. and it looks OK. (maybe i'm not as indispensable as I'd thought...)

3. I interviewed for a part-time position at my parents Alma Mater today. The thought of leaving CB&C is saddening, but the chance to take a step towards a lifetime dream is encouraging. I have always wanted to get a graduate degree, and since I started editing/producing I have wanted to teach college level TV Production. To think that in a handful of years I could be doing just that...is shocking and it seems almost too good to be true. We'll have to see what comes from this.
